Miami, Florida – Millennium Consulting LLC announces the successful completion of Project Management for the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department’s (WASD) launch of the Oracle Corporation’s Customer Care and Billing System (CC&B) Version 2.3.1. Millennium Consulting LLC supplied Project Management services to Miami-Dade’s WASD overseeing software customizations, interface development, reports & query development, business process improvement, data conversion, testing and performance tuning, change management, training and online documentation. The implementation of CC&B incorporates new features to streamline utility business operations and improve convenience for customers.
Millennium Consulting LLC played a key role in the success of the project. The groundwork for the project’s success was achieved in the early stages of Millennium’s participation with the development of a comprehensive project work plan and work breakdown structure that detailed all work efforts and work products required. Other key contributions by Millennium included leading WASD through a detailed business process re-engineering initiative in which all core business processes related to WASD’s customer management and billing procedures were reviewed, documented and transformed to gain the benefits offered by CC&B. By carefully evaluating a multitude of business processes, WASD and Millennium Consulting LLC eliminated many customizations, thereby providing substantial cost savings to WASD.
Millennium Consulting LLC is now providing post-cutover production support services to WASD. These services include continued revision of key business processes and procedures; performance metrics tracking, change management, incident tracking & problem resolution, and mobile workforce management (MWM) functional architecture.
