Immediate opportunity for a Senior Systems Analyst/Programmer for placement at a public sector entity in the Miami-Dade, FL area. Resource must be ‘local’ for duration of the project.
MINIMUM SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Highly knowledgeable in Java Design and Development of J2EE based web applications using Java frameworks as required by customer, ORACLE 12c, SQL server
- Eclipse, Netbeans, Service Registry (any), JIRA, Agile Methodology (Scrum or other)
- Design and Develop secure web services (SOAP & RESTFUL)
- Knowledge of different message formats and parsers for: XML, JSON, CSV, Fixed Length
- Knowledge of communication protocols like FTP, SMTP, JMS, MQ, Web services
- Applies Java and Oracle standard coding practices and industry standards
- Highly experienced in HTML 5, JavaScript, JQuery, Ajax, JSON, CSS, MVC, Jasper Reports
- Experience with WebSphere Application Server, Tomcat
- Experience with deploying applications test to staging and into production
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree or more in Computer Information Systems or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years application development experience, strong java developer
- Experience with Core Java, Multithreading and Concurrency control
- Experience with SVN, Team Foundation, Scrum/Agile
- Excellent requirements, analysis, design, development, testing, documentation and communication skills
- Experienced in debugging, tracking and resolving Java error codes and application problems
- Ability to work in diverse teams across multiple locations
- Experience working on real time high output transaction processing systems
