Orlando, Florida – Millennium Consulting LLC announces the successful completion of Orange County Utilities (OCU) implementation of Oracle’s Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) version 2.5 framework (FW) version on July 3, 2016. This effort was accomplished on time, adhering to all budgetary guidelines, and while achieving all planned deliverables.

The primary goals of this project were for OCU to remain on Oracle’s premier support and upgrade to the full JAVA release provided In Oracle’s CC&B version 2.5, to achieve superior performance and to enhance the customer experience. The upgrade required all customizations, existing and new, to be developed in JAVA eliminating the COBOL footprint.

CC&B version 2.5 is highly configurable and as a result OCU has achieved additional efficiencies through the re-engineering of business processes.

Additionally, this project included a concurrent implementation of Oracle’s Goldengate application used for replication and approved for use with CC&B version 2.5. The use of Goldengate provides separation of CC&B batch processing, reporting functions, and web-based customer payment portals thereby yielding a secure, efficient and reliable architecture that aligns with the business requirements of Orange County Utilities.
